Ahead of the launch Realme India has revealed a lot of details about the Indian version of the Realme X2 Pro. Will it be similar to the China model? Let’s take a quick look at the offerings of the Realme X2 Pro India model.
Realme is launching a new flagship phone in India on November 20. It is the Realme X2 Pro. This Realme phone is already launched in China and we believe the same version of the Realme X2 Pro is heading to the Indian market. Alongside the Realme X2 Pro, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is launching the affordable Realme 5s on November 20. Ahead of the launch Realme India has teased and revealed a lot of details about the Indian version of the Realme X2 Pro. Let’s take a quick look at the offerings of the Realme X2 Pro India model:
Realme X2 Pro smartphone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa core (2.96 GHz, Single core, Kryo 485 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 485 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 485) processor. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Chipset. It has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
Realme X2 Pro smartphone has a Super AMOLED display. It measures 161 mm x 75.7 mm x 8.7 mm and weighs 199 grams. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 405 ppi pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and screen-to-body ratio of 83.7 %. On camera front, the buyers get a 16 MP Front Camera and on the rear, there’s an 64+13+8+2 MP camera with features like Fixed Focus. It is backed by a 4000 mAh battery. Connectivity features in the smartphone include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Volte, NFC and more.
Realme X2 Pro price in India
In China the Realme X2 Pro comes in three variants. The base model of the phone comes with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage at CNY 2,699 (roughly translates to Rs 27,200). The second and third model of the Realme X2 Pro comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, respectively. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model comes at CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 29,200) while the top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 33,200).
The India price of the Realme X2 Pro is yet to be revealed but we expect it to be close to the China price. In other words, the Realme X2 Pro India price may start somewhere around Rs 27,000. Having said that it won’t be wrong to say that the Realme X2 Pro will compete with Redmi K20 Pro in India. The Redmi K20 Pro current sells at a starting price of Rs 25,999 in the country.
Camera
The Realme X2 Pro has the quad rear camera setup which includes a 64 MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with a six-piece, f/1.8 lens. The camera includes a 13 MP secondary sensor with an f/2.5 telephoto lens, an 8 MP tertiary sensor with a 115-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor. It has a 16 MP Sony IMX471 front camera sensor with an f/2.0 lens. The camera supports dual-LED flash, HDR, and panorama shots.
Battery and Storage
The Realme X2 Pro is available in 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variants. The phone comes with a non-expandable memory. The device is powered by a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge support.
